Thank you for your hard work. The last minute change in plans worked out for the best. We stayed at a nice hotel in Guatemala City. I think I stayed there before but it has been completely renovated. Downtown Guatemala City has changed much since last time. It is very clean and has a safe atmosphere. Nice restaurants too.
We got to Tikal a little later than planned but stayed many hours and saw most of it. Terry was impressed with Tikal. We got great exercise as we climbed most of the temple and pyramid steps to get the best views. en Belice we went snorkeling and saw manatees, sharks, huge sea turtles and lots of fish. We went to Altun Ha and the Belize Zoo. My next project is to get American Airlines to give us something as they goofed up our flight. Our connection left minutes before we got to the gate in Miami. I have just returned from my week en Belice. I stayed with my daughter and her family the first part of our trip in Belmopan. We then went to Belizean Shores on Saturday thru Tuesday and I returned home to NC on Wednesday. Everything was great at the Resort. Thanks for your help. Thomas O.
